Guest Artist: Matthew LaBreche

Bring students along and
explore the act of printmaking as communication.

 

  Matt LaBreche returns to
the Hastings area with a degree in Architecture and a strong urge to use printmaking
as a means of responding to the world. 
Matt will share about the rich possibility of this medium with
participants as they create their own blocks to make a variety of prints to
take back at the end of the day. 

 

Teachers will work alongside students and further develop curriculum
that aligns to state standards in Language Arts (communication, media,
expressive literacy).  At this
time, teachers may invite up to 5 students to accompany them.  Teachers may also choose to use this
day as a means of professional growth and come to develop their own skill and
the curriculum module.
