Description

ESU 9 WELCOMES K-12 EDUCATORS OF ALL CONTENT AREAS:

A curriculum is determined locally and reflects “how” teachers help students learn the content within content area standards. A curriculum outlines the intended outcomes, content, experiences, assessments, and resources for measuring student learning, and it also includes the scope and sequence of what is taught in grades PreK-12.

Join Amy Schultz, Kristen Slechta and Katie Soto on a synchronous Zoom for the first half of the day from 9:00 - 12:00 a.m. to gather the most current student achievement research and explore customizable resources. The second half of the day is work time! Amy and Kristen are available from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. with open office hours on the same Zoom link.

Consider your curricular journey and ways to enhance your curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices:
* State Standards Prioritization
* Curriculum Alignment
* Curricular Scope and Sequence
* Review and Analysis of Instructional Materials
* State Assessment Updates & Assessment Design
* Learning Goals and Success Criteria
* College and Career Readiness

Optional: 1 Credit Hour ($235)
If you are taking for credit, you must attend May 24th and log an additional 7.5 hours of curriculum work.

$125 stipend is available for teachers from Title II-A Consortium Member Schools: Adams Central, Blue Hill, Doniphan-Trumbull, Giltner, Hampton, Kenesaw, Red Cloud, Silver Lake, and Sutton.

*Stipend not available if taking this for college credit
