Six Minute Solutions is a reading fluency program published by Sopris West/Cambia. The program uses leveled passages for fluency practices. In this training, we will talk about teachers using it with smaller leveled groups and students working with partners.We will also share how to structure and organize the materials so that students are able to have the fluency practices in "six minutes" on a regular basis without taking away from the reading instructional time.

Six-Minute Solutions includes:

• assessment tools to determine the correct instructional reading level so appropriate material is matched to the student or partners
• reproducible charts to monitor progress
• high-interest informational reading passages (approximately 25 passages per level) developed for primary (K-2) with reading passages at K-3 reading levels; intermediate (3-6) with reading passages at 1-6 grade reading levels; and secondary level (6-12) with reading passages at 4-9 grade reading levels
