Description | | This workshop will be offered by the Geographic Educators of Nebraska at several ESUs around the state. The Student Atlas of Nebraska is geared toward 4th grade reading/comprehension levels and is filled with maps, tables, and pictures to augment instruction in Nebraska Studies. 4th grade social studies teachers are eligible to attend these workshops.
Each teacher completing this free training will be provided with 30 free classroom copies of the Student Atlas of Nebraska was well as additional instructional materials. A $100 stipend will be provided to each teacher when required follow-up feedback is received early in the school year.
Teachers will also receive a jumpdrive of all pages of the atlas to print their own and other teacher materials.
Minimum of 4 participants, Maximum of 10.
The Geographic Educators of Nebraska are a non-profit statewide organization affiliated with the National Geographic Society.
