WHAT IS VISUAL PHONICS?
SEE the Sound – Visual Phonics is a visual, kinesthetic system that helps learners connect sounds to print using simple hand cues and written symbols. It supports the development of phonemic awareness, reading, spelling, and speech by making speech sounds visible.
Please note: If you are no longer able to attend, your district will still be billed for the registration, if after 11-26-25. In your absence, we will offer the spot to the next person on the wait list. Please let Cindy Nejezchleb know if you are no longer able to attend.
Visual Phonic cards are included in registration fee and will be sent out after the training.

Join the ESU, Office of Special Education, NeMTSS, and Technical Assistance Partners for a fun filled day with learning and planning with your school team. In building capacity for the scale-up of the MTSS framework and to support districts in an environment of strong local control, each district is required to review their student data and establish a Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP) that focuses on literacy.
Who should attend:
Distric Leadership Teams with membership including individuals who have:
* knowledge about district goals & initiatives (e.g. TIP, Corrective Action Plans, Title I, Continuous Improvement Plan, etc.)
* Access to ILCD

*Administrative decision-making responsiblity
