Description | | CALLING ALL...K-12 Math Educator's, Curriculum Directors, Instructional Coaches, and any other educator wanting to learn how to enhance their math instruction!
Scott Phillips (Math Teacher from Aurora Middle School) is BACK for a day full of instructional strategies, curriculum conversations, and innovative lesson design!
How do educators include games in their math instruction while still making it worth their precious instructional time? During this presentation, teachers will have first hand experience at several engaging, strategic, and enhancing math games. Explore a new twist on classic games that we all know AND spark your creativity with new innovation. The professional development won’t just talk about “Gamifying” the classroom, but teachers will play the games against one another so they can adapt it to their own state standards and experience it first hand. There will be something for everyone this year and it will be worth the trip. Connect with a variety of math educators in the ESU9 area and build relationships that will make everyone a better educator!
Structure for the day:
