Description

About the Training
Science of Reading Lite provides a foundational understanding of the Science of Reading and the role every educator plays in developing successful readers.
Participants will:
* Explore how children learn to read
* Understand the connection between language and literacy
* Learn practical, evidence-based instructional strategies
* Apply literacy practices within their own instructional setting
* Develop an action plan for implementation

Every educator is a literacy teacher—not because everyone teaches reading, but because every educator builds the language, knowledge, and vocabulary students need to become successful readers.

Who Should Attend?
* Educators and leaders interested in building a foundational understanding of the Science of Reading
* Meets the requirements for educators serving PreK–Grade 3 students whose primary role is not providing direct foundational reading instruction
