DescriptionPsychological First Aid for Schools (PFA-S) is an evidence-informed intervention model to assist students, families, school personnel, and school partners in the immediate aftermath of an emergency. 



The goal of utilizing PFA-S is to help strengthen the team response and recovery process for dealing with hazards, threats, and incidents. The PFA-S response can assist students and staff in recovering from distressful reactions to a crisis and in building adaptive coping skills.
