The series will emphasize the crucial systems-level conditions required for successful implementation, based on The Elements: Transforming Teaching through Curriculum-Based Professional Learning (Short & Hirsh, 2020). We encourage the attendance of leaders and teachers throughout the two days.
Agenda:
* Collaboratively study, practice, and reflect on instructional material implementation.
* Advocate for essential resources and coherent systems supporting curriculum.
* Create inclusive curriculum designs promoting transformative learning and equity.
* Experience the curriculum as a learner for valuable insights and feedback.
* Craft a customized year-long pacing guide for the high quality instructional material.
* Participate in Unit/Module and Lesson Internalization processes for effective planning.
* Reflect on learning and offer feedback to guide potential day 3 (in the fall 2025).
