Description | | Docker is one of the more popular methods of deploying container-based systems. This 2-day workshop will contain both training on Docker from an overall perspective and lab work to deploy specific Docker systems that are useful to ESUs. Day 1 will be largely presentation with some lab time. Day 2 will be mostly lab, interwoven with best practices discussions.
Ideally, each organization in attendance will prepare these items ahead of time: a Linux host to run Docker, an available range of IP addresses, and remote access from the training site. Organizations without this capability are welcome but should inform the host site / trainer of the need one week ahead of the workshop. System requirements are: 2 cores (64-bit), 8 GB RAM, 50 GB free storage, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS minimal installation, fully updated. The user should have sudo permissions to the Ubuntu system.
