"Restorative Practices" Guide for Educators (2014)
ESU 9 is hosting an expert consultant from Restore More for a 2 day training focused on the foundational elements of Restorative Practices. Participants will participant in an engaging training that will expand their understanding of building better relationships, using affective language, restorative consequences, and how these practices tie into the education systems.
LaRaesha Kugel has first-hand experience implementing Restorative Practices within the classroom, as well as extensive training on this subject. During this 2 day training, she will be collaborating with participants and will be available throughout the school year for expanding this into the school systems through instructional coaching.
$125 stipend per day is available for teachers from Title II-A Consortium Member Schools: Adams Central, Blue Hill, Doniphan-Trumbull, Giltner, Hampton, Kenesaw, Red Cloud, Silver Lake, and Sutton.
*Stipend not available if taking this for college credit
Optional: 1 Credit Hour ($250) through Hastings College
If you are taking this for credit, you must attend both days and complete additional assignments.
Mental Health Grant:
This training would qualify for use of Mental Health Grant Funds for both registration and stipends for attendees. |
