| Comments | | Jordan McCoy, LIMHP and Wellness Promotion & Prevention Coordinator UNK will present on Brain Wise Strategies to impact children in a meaningful way. Provide participants with an understanding on social & emotional development & provide them with concrete strategies to use w/children. Participants will be trained on self regulation tools, strategies to emotionally connect w/children, how to utilize problem solving skills & how this gets in the way of meeting children's emotional needs. Participants will obtain knowledge on how prolonged stress impacts brain development, social & emotional development, attachment & behavioral responses.
