Description | | In Nebraska, students from historically marginalized populations are not being identified for HAL programs. Identifying underrepresented populations for high ability programs requires taking a close look at our systems, recognizing barriers, and redefining our conceptions of giftedness. This session will answer questions regarding current identification practices, outline best practices to reimagine HAL identification, and introduce new NDE resources.
