CommentsJordan McCoy, a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, will present on "Brain Wise Strategies To Impact Children In a Meaningful Way".

This training will provide participants with an understanding on how stress impacts all areas of development. The training will provide participants with concrete strategies to use with children. Participants will be trained on self-regulation tools, strategies to meet children's neurobiological needs, and other specific brain-based strategies. Participants will reflect on their own struggles and how this gets in the way of meeting children's emotional needs. Participants will learn specific ways to help themselves regulate in the classroom that will influence their ability to implement the brain-based strategies for the children they are teaching.
