About the Presenter:
Lori Broady has been involved in education for over 25 years in a variety of capacities. She was fortunate to spend 23 years as a Social Studies teacher at Johnson-Brock Public Schools and was involved in a wide array of programs including We The People, National History Day, Mock Trial, and Project Citizen. Creating a strong community service program at Johnson-Brock was a particular point of satisfaction for Ms. Broady.
On a state level, she has worked on teams to revise and rewrite the Nebraska State Social Studies Standards on three separate occasions. She has served as a member of the board for the Nebraska State Council for Social Studies and has also been a member of the Nemaha Valley Museum board.
Lori is now a member of the Teaching & Learning Team at ESU4. She continues to have a passion for Social Studies education, community service, and helping teachers and students learn. |
