| Description | | The training on program specific Effective
Instructional Routines and Templates will provide direct,
explicit instructional techniques to enhance and strengthen your core
reading program adopted at your district. The Ashlock Consultant, Inc. (ACI) templates/cards used in Kindergarten
- 2nd grade and Grades 3-6 will be explicitly modeled, practiced in small
groups, and provided feedback/support for the instructional techniques/delivery
that will be implemented along side your core reading instruction using the
lesson maps developed by participants from your district. The templates provide effective routines and
procedures for introducing and practicing the critical components in reading
and promote mastery of beginning reading skills (K-2) and support for advanced
reading skills (3-6) for all students during core, whole-group, reading
block. |
