Description | | Technical assistance
will be provided to new administrators, teachers and leadership team members at
schools implementing a Multi-Tier System of Supports (MTSS). Participants will
review the critical components of the MTSS with a brief presentation of an
overview of the areas in which the district has developed written plans with a
focus on the continuous improvement process and systematic decision making
based on data and research-based practices for instruction (core and
intervention); assessment system; decision rules to identify student needs and
effectiveness of instruction; professional development and coaching supports;
process for decision making for instruction, assessment, professional
development; and, review of the district’s plan for how a leadership will ensure
support for focused implementation of the MTSS.
Sub reimbursements, mileage
& registration will be provided/covered for participants that are
part of the ESU 9 PEaK project.
