ESU 9 & 10 invites K-12 science educators to join us at the Iain Nicolson Audubon Center at Rowe Sanctuary for two days dedicated to "Science Classroom Transitions and Practices."

Professional Learning:

*Integrate the Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs) and Crosscutting Concepts (CCCs)
*Collaborate across district and ESU lines to develop 3D lessons and formative assessment tasks. *This will include building units, bundling indicators, scope, and sequence.

Outcomes:
*Describe what SEPs would look like in classrooms, providing examples of how to engage students in these practices
*Describe what CCCs would look like in classrooms, providing examples of how to reveal student thinking using the CCCs
*Take a current lesson and shift it to include the 3 dimensions OR develop a new 3D lesson
*Identify possible performance tasks that would assess student learning of the 3 dimensions
