Description | | EIR is an evidence-based reading
intervention proven to achieve positive results for struggling readers when
implemented with fidelity. Dr. Tanya Ihlo will offer an Early Interventions in
Reading professional learning opportunity at ESU 9.
In this
session, Dr. Ihlo will:
*provide
a brief overview of program materials (Levels K & 1) and share the
critical features of the
EIR program
*share
systematic suggested modifications to the program,
*discuss
use of in-program assessments
*model
lesson formats, and
*provide
ample opportunities for participants to practice using the materials with
feedback from the
presenter
PARTICIPANTS NEED TO BRING "The Staff Development Guide (Levels K & 1)
There is sub & mileage reimbursements provided by the D-TIPS Grant.
