Classroom Management Through Behavioral Interventions That Work: Tier Two Strategies
Dr. Riffel will share the ten rules that govern behavior giving examples of each and how to ameliorate the targeted behaviors that occur with each of the rules. Participants will learn the importance of a braided intervention plan based on the behavioral triggers and impacts. She will share the three strands that make an unbreakable braid for a behavioral intervention:
* Revision of the Environment,
* Replacement of the Behavior, and
* Reframing of the Response.
Participants will leave with plans in a workbook and strategies they can use in the classroom the very next day.
Persons taking this course for college credit will also be charged the ESU 9 registration fee and must attend both days to meet all grading requirements.
Stipends are available for Title II-A consortium member districts (Core Content Area and Sped Teachers if you are NOT taking it for credit). Title II-A consortium districts include: Adams Central, Blue Hill, Doniphan-Trumbull, Giltner, Harvard, Kenesaw, Red Cloud, Silver Lake, and Sutton. |
