9:00 - 11:30 - Debbie DeFrain (NDE Director of Fine Arts) will share a wealth of new information from the fine arts world (including media arts and fine arts standards). She will also focus part of the morning on pottery to tie in with our afternoon project.
11:30 - 12:30 - Lunch on your own
12:30 - 3:30 - Local artist Roger Leavitt will demonstrate his pottery techniques as well as discuss art his art background and art in education. He will also provide time for Q & A and allow teachers to share their techniques. You will have time to create something on the pottery wheel he will bring with him to ESU 9.
