Description | | HRS Level 1: Creating a Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Environment
Facilitator: Phil Warrick
Without a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment in your school, it is highly unlikely that students will learn at high levels. These elements serve as the foundation upon which successful schools can be built. The focus of this workshop will be to learn how to couple research validated approaches to safety, order, collaboration, and support for students and staff with high reliability practices.
Outcomes:
1. Learn about what makes up a high reliability school and the levels associated with them.
2. Investigate and learn about the 8 research validated aspects (leading indicators) to a safe, supportive, and collaborative school.
3. See real examples of evidence (lagging indicators) to support the leading indicators from certified high reliability schools and learn how to develop lagging indicators for your school.
4. Develop a plan to take additional steps in your school to ensure a safe, supportive and collaborative environment |
